Mental health is something we are all struggling to balance at some or the other point in our lives. Our hectic lives, changing lifestyles, changing goals and dreams are something we are new to dealing with on this large scale. Above that, when we see glorified glam lives portraited to us on social media, we keep comparing everything with what we are.
Studies have showed that having plants near you have a calming effect on us. Forget what papers say, I can say this so confidently because I have experienced it. They are friends who don’t judge you for whatever your strengths or weaknesses are.
The garden you may decide to have in your home or office can be personalized by you, according to your personality. They show great strengths and the beauty of life. They are eye pleasing and healthy to have around. For me and many like me, gardening is therapeutic. Gardening is not a solution if you are going through any problem, it is a lifestyle. A healthier lifestyle.
If you or anyone you know is suffering from any mental problems, I’d like to urge you to open up and ask for help. You are beautiful and worthy, more power to you!
